Note: Being a teacher, not a researcher, I have only one published research paper (in Transfusion, no less). Most of my publications were writing journal articles on the value of the Internet for CE/CPD, creating online case studies, and reviewing book others had authored. Plus I had a book translated into Japanese because, by serendipity, a visiting Japanese MD saw it in the University of Alberta bookstore and liked it.
2006 Chamber K, Letendre P, Whitman L. Blood Components. (Since revised and we're not even listed as authors anymore) In: Clinical Guide to Transfusion, Clarke G, Blajchman M, eds. Ottawa: Canadian Blood Services, 2006.
1994 Letendre P. (with Peter Letendre) Wakariyasui igakueigoronbun. Osaka: Iyaku Journal Company, 1994. (Japanese translation of Fundamentals of Writing for the Biomedical Sciences.) Preface to the Japanese edition
1991 Letendre P. (with Peter Letendre) Fundamentals of Writing for the Biomedical Sciences. Edmonton: Division of Medical Laboratory Science, University of Alberta, 1991 [in conjunction with Ryde Pier Educational Productions]. Preface to the English edition
Book review: "This book should be available to anyone required to do first class technical training. It is itself an outstanding example of the very craft it sets out to teach....The book can be recommended without hesitation." [CJMT 1992;54:186]
